What you need to know as parents/players:

We have recently created a Club Handbook which covers a large array of FAQ's about the club. CLICK HERE to find out what you need to know.

Most teams will play at Casey Indoor Leisure centre, with fixtures being released in early June for the Spring Season. The Tournament teams play at 8-10 tournaments throughout the whole year. The year is split up into 2 seasons, which run alongside the 2 school semesters. The Autumn season starting in early February and finishing in June. The Spring season begins in July and ends in December. The teams play approximately 18 games per season. There is generally no netball run in school holidays or on public holidays. As a club we understand that driving to Casey Indoor Leisure Centre on a weekly basis, is a big commitment for all parents and players. In the past carpooling has been hugely successful way for the girls to travel and bond before games. If parents have any concerns about travel or the impact on school or other outside commitments please contact Nicole Roffey.

Attendance to training is very important and may help to decide playing time. If you are unable to attend training it is important to let your coach know preferably the game before training.

In the Past Southern Fusion Netball Club players and coaches had the opportunity to partake in 2 specialist training sessions run by an Australian Men’s Player, on midcourt development and a VNL Championship Player, on goaling development. Southern Fusion Netball Club will be working on implementing more specialist development sessions for coaches and players in the future.
