Southern Fusion Spring News

Based in Meeniyan, South Gippsland’s representative Netball Club, Southern Fusion will be  changing Venue's for the 2019 Spring season.

Our girls will be now playing at Casey Netball Association, which  boasts one of the largest Netball Associations within Victoria and only this year Casey Demons joins Victorian Netball league.

The association is based at Cranbourne, meaning a closer venue, less travel time, as well as earlier time slots, and the icing on the cake is that all our juniors will be playing on the Wednesday night. An Opportunity the committee knew couldn't be passed up!

In 2019 Southern Fusion are offering three junior age groups and an Open team, providing the opportunity for over 40 local girls to play netball at their optimum level and reach their potential (while loving it!!).

The club is made up of:

  • 1 x 13/U team competing at Casey Stadium on a Wednesday night
  • 1 x 15/U team competing at Casey Stadium on a Wednesday night
  • 1 x 17/U team competing at Casey Stadium on a Wednesday night
  • 1 x Open team competing at Waverly Netball Centre on a Tuesday night

It is also a terrific avenue for coaches and umpires wanting to move up to the next level. Trials for 2020 teams have been scheduled for October/November. All keen Netballers are welcome and invited to attend; please complete the online registration above.

Thank you!

On behalf of the Southern Fusion Netball Club, I would like to Thank my founding members, Ben Dixon,Nicole Roffey, Karen Porter, Yvonne Porter, Brooke Cleeland and Julie Dixon for their contributions they have made throughout the beginning, without all of your dedication and commitment to this project, we would not exist.

I would also like to thank Kirsty Gilbert (Graphic Designer) for the time she has spent in designing our logos, letterheads and all other graphics for the club. This work has been from the goodness of her heart.

And lastly to all the players, families, coaches and netballing community, without your support this new South Gippsland representative level club could not have been established.
